Grandaddy JC's Pecan Pie

Growing up in Montezuma Georgia, I remember picking pecans with my grandfather, aunts, and my uncles on a crisp fall day. I’d always see my grandfather shelling pecans while sitting in his rocking chair. I’ve always tried to do things just like my grandad, dad, and uncles, but let’s say that didn’t last long. I ate most of them. I’m keeping my grandfather’s memory alive by making one of our favorites.
