Grandma Kate's Sweet Potato Custard

The Oliver grandchildren’s favorite. Grandma Kate’s custard is simply all of the sweet potato sweetness without the guilty crust. Grandma Kate would make this custard and have the grandchildren fighting over the edges. The edges were our favorite, because the sugars had caramelized and became crisp and delicious.
